Tom Parker autobiography 'Hope' to arrive in July
/THE Wanted’s Tom Parker sadly passed away on Wednesday this week.
He had revealed in 2020 that he had an inoperable glioblastoma brain tumour, and is survived by his wife Kelsey and their children Aurelia and Bodhi.
But just ten days ago, Parker revealed that his fittingly titled autobiography Hope would be published this July.
Parker posted to his Instagram to share the news, with an uplifting and hopeful animation showing the book’s pages filling with videos and photos - and an important message, shared by Parker himself:
Hi, I’m Tom Parker, a lot of you know me as one fifth of The Wanted, but I am also a father, a husband, and a son, that’s battling brain cancer. My book, coming this July, is not about dying: It's a book about living. It's a book about finding hope in whatever situation you're dealt, and living your best life no matter what. It will show you how having faith in hope and daring to dream means you can carry on, against all odds.
We don’t doubt his book will be a powerful read and will achieve what Parker himself succeeded in doing - providing inspirational hope and strength in the hardest of times.
The book cover cuts a fitting and uplifting tribute to the young star, father, husband, and son, although the ‘draft cover’ shared may be subject to change.
Honestly, that Parker had the strength of will and positivity to write Hope is an incredible story of its own, and we’re sure readers will get so much from the book judging by Parker’s own undeniable spirit.
Hope by Tom Parker is available for pre-order now and will be available on July 21st 2022.
